Effective date: 12 October 2026
Who this policy belongs to, and what it covers
This policy is issued by Freedom line s.r.o., registered at Budilova 161/15, Jižní Předměstí, 301 00 Plzeň 3, Czech Republic, company registration number 29160839, contactable at info@mildnature.online. Freedom line s.r.o. publishes the website at mildnature.online, called Mild Nature in this document, and decides what happens to the small amount of personal information the site gives rise to.
Personal information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, which the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner publishes at oaic.gov.au/privacy/australian-privacy-principles.
This policy covers the domain mildnature.online and nothing else. When you follow a link away from this site — to a vendor, to an affiliate link, or to any of the Australian government services named in the course — you are on a site with its own privacy policy, which governs what happens there. We have no control over those sites and do not receive their records about you.
Because the site is deliberately simple, so is this policy. There are no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no analytics here. What follows walks through each of the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles in order and says what it means on this particular site, including the principles that barely apply.
The Australian Privacy Principles, one by one
APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information
This document is the whole of our policy and it is published at a fixed address, linked from the footer of every page on the site. It names the entity responsible — Freedom line s.r.o. — rather than referring to “the company”, and it gives the registered address, the registration number and a working email address. Freedom line s.r.o. is not registered for VAT, so no VAT number is stated anywhere on this site. The practices described here are the practices in force; where something is not collected, the policy says so rather than leaving room.
APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity
Reading Mild Nature requires no identification of any kind. You do not create an account, you are not asked for a name, and nothing on the site asks who you are. If you write to us, you may use a pseudonymous email address and sign with any name you like; we will reply to the address that wrote to us. The one exception is a request for access to or correction of personal information, where we may need enough information to be satisfied that the request comes from the person it concerns.
APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information
Two categories exist, and there is no third.
- Server access logs, kept by our hosting provider in the ordinary course of serving a website. A log entry records the IP address making the request, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page where the browser sends one, and the user-agent string identifying the browser and operating system.
- Email you send us at info@mildnature.online: your email address, any name you include, the content of the message, and any attachment.
Nothing else is collected. There are no forms and no input fields anywhere on this site, no accounts, no newsletter, no progress tracking and no quiz. The checklists do not record your ticks. We set no cookies, load no web fonts, run no analytics and carry no advertising tags; there is no profiling and no cross-site tracking. Every page is built from files served by this site alone, so a visit makes no request to any other server.
APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information
Sometimes an email contains more than is needed to answer it — details about a household, a child, an account, or an unrelated matter. Where we receive personal information we did not ask for and do not need in order to reply, we delete it when it is lawful and reasonable to do so, rather than keeping it on the basis that it might one day be useful.
APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information
This document is that notification, and it is written before the fact rather than after it. The categories in APP 3 above, the purposes in APP 6, the retention periods below and the recipients named in APP 8 are the complete picture. The contact page repeats, in plainer words, what happens to an email you send us.
APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information
Access logs are used for three purposes only: keeping the site secure, identifying and preventing abuse such as automated attacks, and diagnosing faults when a page fails to load. Email is used for one purpose: reading and replying to your message, and keeping the thread coherent if the conversation continues.
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise make personal information available to anyone for marketing, and we do not disclose it for any purpose outside those just listed. Information is disclosed to a law enforcement body, court or regulator only where a law requires or authorises it.
APP 7 — Direct marketing
We do not carry out direct marketing. There is no mailing list, no newsletter, no promotional email, and no reminder sequence of any kind; the course does not follow up with anyone, because it has no way of knowing who read it. An email address used to write to us is never added to a list, because no list exists.
APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information
Two recipients exist, and both are service providers acting for us: our hosting provider, which serves the site and keeps the access logs, and our email service provider, which carries and stores the mailbox at info@mildnature.online. There are no other recipients.
Both providers may store or process data outside Australia, including in the country where their servers are located, which may be outside Australia. Freedom line s.r.o. is itself established in the Czech Republic, so information reaching us is handled there.
APP 9 — Adoption, use or disclosure of government related identifiers
This principle has no application here. We do not adopt a government related identifier as our own identifier for anybody, and we neither use nor disclose one. We never ask for a tax file number, a Medicare number, a driver licence number or any similar identifier, and there is no field anywhere on the site in which one could be entered.
APP 10 — Quality of personal information
The information we hold is limited to log entries, which are machine-generated records of requests, and to emails, which are whatever you wrote. If something we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete and it matters, write to us and we will correct it.
APP 11 — Security of personal information
The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the site is encrypted. There is no database behind the site and no submitted content is stored anywhere, because nothing can be submitted. The hosting account and the mailbox are reachable only by people working for Freedom line s.r.o., using individual credentials.
We claim no certification and no compliance with any standard beyond what is written here. Information that is no longer needed is deleted according to the retention periods set out below.
APP 12 — Access to personal information
You may ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it. Write to info@mildnature.online with Privacy request in the subject line. There is no charge for making a request. We reply within 30 days. In practice the answer is usually either an email thread you already have, or nothing at all, since log entries are short-lived and are not organised by person.
APP 13 — Correction of personal information
You may ask us to correct personal information we hold about you. Use the same address and the same subject line, say what is wrong and what it should be, and we will respond within 30 days. Where we correct something that was previously disclosed, we will say so.
How long each category is kept
- Server access logs: 30 days, after which they are deleted or overwritten in the ordinary cycle of the hosting service.
- Email correspondence: 24 months after the last message in the conversation, unless it needs to be kept longer because it is relevant to a legal claim, in which case it is kept until that matter ends.
Affiliate links and what they mean for your information
Some links on this site are paid affiliate links to Star Stable Online. Following one takes you off mildnature.online immediately; it is an ordinary link to the destination address, with no redirect of ours in between, and you can see the address in your browser before you click it.
Once you are there, Star Stable Online and the affiliate network that operates the link may use cookies or similar technology on their own domains to record that the referral came from us. That happens under their privacy policies and cookie notices, not under this one, and we have no control over it. Freedom line s.r.o. receives commission reports from the network, which we use only to reconcile what we are owed. We do not seek, and have no interest in obtaining, information that would identify an individual reader from those reports.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled personal information, write to info@mildnature.online and describe the problem. We will look into it and answer you within 30 days.
If our answer does not resolve the matter, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints, which explains how the OAIC handles privacy complaints and what it can consider.
Data breaches
If we become aware that personal information we hold may have been accessed, disclosed or lost without authorisation, we assess what happened promptly. Where the assessment indicates that serious harm is likely, we notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Children
Mild Nature is written for adults who are working out what an online game means for their household, and it is not directed at people under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and in any case there is nothing on the site through which a child could provide any. If a child writes to the contact address, we treat the message as we would any other and delete anything not needed to reply.
If the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you
Freedom line s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to our handling of personal information as well as the Australian framework described above.
Our legal basis for keeping server access logs is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website. Our legal basis for handling an email you send us is taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence. We do not rely on consent as a legal basis anywhere, because there are no cookies and no optional processing to consent to.
Where the GDPR applies you have the right to request access to your personal information, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, its portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use info@mildnature.online for any of these.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), uoou.gov.cz.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top is updated on the day the new version is published. Where a change is material — a new category of information, a new recipient, a different retention period — a short note saying so appears at the top of this page for 30 days after the change.
