Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: 12 October 2026

The short version

Mild Nature is free to read and carries no advertising. It is paid for by commission. Five pages of the course contain a paid affiliate link to Star Stable Online; if you follow one of those links and then create an account, the affiliate network that operates the link pays Freedom line s.r.o. a commission. You pay exactly what you would have paid had you typed the vendor's address into your browser instead.

This page explains the arrangement in full, because a reader who knows how a site earns its money can weigh what it says. The same arrangement, stated in two sentences, appears in a box on the homepage and in a line beside every affiliate link on the site.

Who is paid, and by whom

The publisher is Freedom line s.r.o., Budilova 161/15, Jižní Předměstí, 301 00 Plzeň 3, Czech Republic, company registration number 29160839. The payment comes from the affiliate network that operates the link, not from you and not directly from the brand.

According to the programme material we hold, commission can arise on a sign-up, on a first play and on a purchase made after the referral. We do not publish the rates, because they vary and because the figure is not something a reader needs in order to weigh the disclosure: what matters is that a commission exists at all, and it does.

Where the affiliate links appear

There are five of them, and they are all inside a bordered box that says what it is. They sit in:

  • Step one, in the note explaining why no product details are described anywhere in the course;
  • Step two, where you are told to assess any candidate game against the requirements you have just written down;
  • Step three, where the procedure for reading a vendor's pricing page is applied to the product we are paid to mention;
  • Step four and step five, in the notes saying that the general procedures apply to it unchanged.

No affiliate link appears in the site menu, in the footer, on the checklists page, on the About or Contact pages, or anywhere in the legal pages. Nothing on this site is disguised as something other than a link: every affiliate link shows its destination in the browser's status bar, goes directly to that address, and carries the markers that identify it to browsers and search engines as a paid link. There is no redirect of ours in the middle, nothing is rewritten when you click, and the page you see is the same page every visitor sees.

What the commission does not decide

Commission does not decide what any step says. It does not decide which checklist items exist, whether a reader is told that the answer may be “not yet”, or how cautious the language around spending is. Nothing in the course describes the product's price, features, device requirements or contents, for the simple reason that we hold no vendor statement about them — and a commission is not a reason to invent one.

You will not find a score, a ranking, a comparison in which one product wins, an award, a seal or a claim that anything is the best of anything. Those devices are how commercial pressure usually reaches a reader, so the course does without them entirely.

What does decide the content

Three things, in this order.

  1. The order in which a household actually decides. The five steps follow the sequence of real decisions — what is this, what do we need, what does it cost, how do we set it up, how do we keep it sensible — rather than the sequence that would be easiest to sell against.
  2. What a source says. Classification questions go to the Australian Classification Board, consumer-law questions to the ACCC, account security to the Australian Cyber Security Centre, online safety to the eSafety Commissioner, privacy to the OAIC, and scam patterns to Scamwatch. Where no source says something, the course says that it does not know.
  3. Whether the page would still be worth reading with the links removed. That is the test the editorial team applies to every page, and it is the reason the course can be completed in full without following a single link.

The method, including who writes the pages and how often they are reviewed, is set out on the About page.

What this means for you

Three practical points. Your price is unchanged — an affiliate link is a referral marker, not a discount and not a surcharge. You are never required to use one; typing the vendor's address yourself leads to the same place, and the course is written on that assumption. And following a link takes you to a site governed by its own terms, where that company and the affiliate network may set cookies on their own domains to record the referral, as described in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.

If an arrangement like this makes you want a second opinion before any purchase, that is a reasonable instinct and the course actively supports it: step three sends you to the vendor's own pages and to a public classification database rather than asking you to take our word for anything.

Trademarks

All brand names on Mild Nature, Star Stable Online among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Mild Nature, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.

Mild Nature is not an official site, an authorised reseller, a partner or a representative of any brand it mentions, and it does not use any brand's logo, wordmark, screenshots or colours.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or if you think a link somewhere on the site is insufficiently labelled, write to info@mildnature.online and we will answer, and fix the labelling if you are right.
